Coliseum understands that fashion is always changing and adopts a modern but smart dress code. Think smart casual, make an effort and if you have to ask yourself will I get in wearing this? The answer will probably be no.

We do not permit, Ed Hardy and sparkly men's tops and also fancy dress is not permitted unless otherwise stated.

Coliseum is open for business from 10pm - 3am on a Friday and Saturday night.

Coliseum is available for hire. If you would like to run a one off or weekly event we are always happy to hear from you. In the past we have successfully pulled off a variety of events like, club nights, brand promotion nights, theatre productions and also fashion shows. Coliseum prides its self in offering something for everyone's taste. Depending on what night you decide to visit will music will vary.

On a Wednesday you will hear student anthems, 90's classics and some pop at the weekly event "AU Social".

On every first and third Friday you will hear Jillys DJ's playing Classic Rock, New Rock, Metal, Alt Dance, Punk, Metal and Emo at our fortnightly rock night called "Rock Bottom".

On the last Friday of every month Coliseum have a Polish night which invites all Polish people to come and join us in one of Manchester's most successful polish nights. The music for the night consists of Dance, Trance and also House music.

On a Saturday night Coliseum offers Ibiza anthems in the front bar, and RnB in the main dance arena at our weekly event called "Beaut". This night is known as the number one event on a Saturday night.

Coliseum does run a guestlist for all of their events. This will sometimes allow you cheaper entry to the club as well as q-jump. You can use the guestlist service to add yourself to our guestlist of your chosen event. Just simply fill in the required information and we will do the rest. Our guestlist close at 8pm on the date of the event so any requests after that will be added to the next event.

Student discount is offered on selected events. Just ask the member of staff when paying on entry on the venue.
